GT140 Podium at Tallington

Congratulations to our Winners at Tallington

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to all the riders who delivered thrilling performances at Tallington over the weekend.

James Shanes took a well-deserved victory in the 500cc Solos, showcasing his incredible speed and skill out on the track. A brilliant performance that truly stood out.

In the GT140s, it was Wayne Broadhurst who came out on top, racing with precision and determination to secure the win. We’d also like to congratulate Tony Atkin and Ian Clarke for their impressive podium finishes.

RTS Racing would like to thank all the riders, teams, organisers and supporters who made the event such a success. We look forward to seeing more thrilling competition at the next meet.

FIM World Long Track Champions

Team GB Crowned World Long Track Champions

Team Great Britain have been crowned World Long Track Champions after a dominant and determined performance in Germany. The meeting was re-started following heavy rain the previous evening, but the British riders returned with focus and fire to secure a memorable victory on the world stage.

The team was well supported by reserve rider Cameron Taylor, who was making his first appearance at world championship level. Just a day earlier, Taylor competed in the Under 23 World Long Track Championship, finishing a highly creditable 8th overall—the top British rider in the event. Remarkably, this was also his first meeting back since suffering an injury in the British Masters, making his contribution all the more impressive.

Team manager Mitch Godden expertly guided the squad to victory, as Team GB proudly claimed the title of World Long Track Champions—a major milestone for British racing.

RTS Racing would like to extend their congratulations to Team GB on this outstanding achievement, and to everyone involved in organising and running the event at Vechta. A true showcase of international racing at its best.

Long Track of Nations

RTS Racing Heads to Vechta for FIM Long Track Finals

This weekend, RTS Racing is heading to the continent for two of the most prestigious events on the international long track calendar – the FIM Long Track Under 23 World Cup and the 2025 Long Track of Nations, taking place on 12th and 13th September in Vechta, Germany.

These back-to-back events will bring together the top long track riders from across Europe, each representing their country in a thrilling display of speed, skill, and national pride. The Vechta circuit, renowned for its fast straights and technical corners, is expected to deliver an unforgettable weekend of racing and a serious challenge for even the most seasoned competitors.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Cameron Taylor, one of RTS Racing’s standout riders, will participate in the Under 23’s World Cup and has earned a reserve spot on the Team GB squad for the Long Track of Nations. Cameron’s selection is a testament to his hard work, consistency, and the resilience he’s shown in bouncing back from a recent injury.

Team GB will be managed by the experienced Mitch Godden, who brings invaluable leadership and insight to the squad. Joining Cameron in the 2025 lineup are long track stars Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris, Zach Wajtknecht, and Andrew Appleton—an incredibly strong team ready to challenge the traditional powerhouses of Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

The entire RTS Racing crew will be in Vechta to support Cameron and the rest of Team GB. If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry—you can catch all the action live at tapesup.tv.

We’re honoured to be part of Cameron’s journey and excited to see him take on the world under the Team GB banner.

From everyone at RTS Racing: good luck to Cameron, Chris, Zach, Andrew, and Mitch and all the riders taking part. Let’s go, Team GB!

RTS 438 on Track

Chaddesley Corbett

RTS Racing would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved at Chaddesley Corbett on Sunday. Despite the challenging track conditions due to the weather, it was a pleasure for Mark, Neil, and myself to be back behind the handlebars doing what we love.

As many of you will know, Neil unfortunately sustained a fractured knee and ligament damage during the event. We are hopeful he’ll make a full recovery and be back on track next year. We’re incredibly grateful for the support and assistance he received following the incident — it truly meant a lot to all of us.

Thank you once again to everyone who made the day possible.

Cameron Taylor racing at the British Championship

ACU British Championships

RTS Racing would like to extend our congratulations to everyone involved in the ACU British Championships held on Sunday, 6th June 2025. It was a fantastic day of racing, and we applaud all the riders, teams, and organisers for putting on a brilliant event.

A special congratulations goes to all the riders associated with RTS Racing, including our very own Cameron Taylor, who delivered an outstanding performance throughout the day. Whilst leading the 350 final and following a re-run, Cameron missed out on a podium position but we couldn’t be prouder of his efforts and determination.

We wish everyone the very best of luck for the remainder of the season and look forward to catching up with you all trackside again soon!

New Greyhound 125 Completed

We have just completed a new Greyhound 125 and ready to go for the FGA class.

It’s been a steady and rewarding build, with plenty of time spent making sure everything is just right and we’re really pleased with how it’s turned out.

Looking forward to seeing Glyn Stanton take to the track with this later in the season.

Good luck to Glyn for the season ahead from all of us at RTS Racing Products.

James Shanes

Track Racing Team Tournament 2025

It was fantastic to see James Shanes back out on the grass last Sunday—he truly shone and reminded us all why he’s a true champion. Well done, James!

The racing across all classes was outstanding, with our Neil on the 250 and Cameron on the 500, joined by a strong field of GT140 riders all flying. A huge well done to everyone involved—we’ll see you all this Sunday!

Progress on Our GM Engine Build

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been heavily focused on assembling a GM engine from scratch. Using new parts and machined castings, we’ve tailored everything to meet our exact specifications.

The engine has been ported and modified to enhance performance according to our requirements.

We will be looking forward to running the engine at Ledbury.
