Barrel Liner Replacement

During combustion, high temperature and high pressure is great enough to damage the engine block components. Hence, the barrel liner is a removable element which can be rebored or replaced if damaged.

At R.T.S Racing Products, our boring facility has 4 boring bars ranging from 38mm up to 120mm for all types of applications. In addition to reboring barrels, we also fit alloy liners with a nikasil plating. This ensures a tighter piston tolerance, resulting in higher performance plus less barrel and piston wear.
